MUSICAL DIRECTOR

CAPITOL YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Manitowoc, WI

The Capitol Civic Centre, the Lakeshore’s Performing Arts Centre, located in Manitowoc Wisconsin has an exciting opportunity available as Musical Director to lead the Capitol’s Youth Symphony Orchestra. The Youth Symphony is sponsored under the auspices of the Capitol Civic Centre with the assistance of the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra.

The Musical Director will be responsible for planning all concerts, rehearsals and trips for the developmental and performance based string program. It begins this fall.  The Capitol Youth Symphony Orchestra Musical Director will plan the repertoire for the season, adding to the music library as the season requires, prepare and conduct all rehearsals as well as coordinate and prepare all sectional coaches among other duties.
